The order applies to all nursing homes, assisted living facilities, residential drug treatment centers and developmentally disabled group homes.

The FDA has fully approved the Pfizer vaccine, but Gov. Hogan wants the federal government to go a step further. 

This all comes as COVD-19 cases in Maryland spike due to the Delta variant.

Jackson tested positive for COVID-19 last week. He has not commented on the matter.

Gov. Hogan signed the order on July 12. The 45-day grace period began on July 1.
