Baltimore Mayor Brandon Scott was among several city leaders to meet with the President and attorney general at the White House on Wednesday to talk crime prevention.
Scott will be joined by other leaders from cities across the nation.

The city of Baltimore is being sued over noncompliance with the Americans with Disabilities Act and now Mayor Brandon Scott is responding by assembling a multi-agency task force.
The state no longer requires masks inside and outside for fully vaccinated people, but Mayor Brandon Scott said not enough people are vaccinated to drop the mask mandate.
He said everyone in the community also needs to be a part of the solution.
In a statement, Mayor Brandon Scott praised the decision saying it was "fundamentally about the health and safety of Baltimoreans.”
During a Tuesday press conference, he said restrictions and resident actions have slowed the spread of COVID-19 in the city.

Brandon Scott is the city's 52nd mayor.
